UMUMNYA MENGHINDARI: pemberian bersamaan dengan fluoxetine dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan konsentrasi plasma dari beberapa antidepresan trisiklik (Tca). Mekanisme yang diusulkan adalah fluoxetine penghambatan CYP450 2D6, yang isoenzim yang bertanggung jawab untuk clearance metabolik dari banyak antidepresan dan obat-obatan psikotropika. Kejang dan delirium telah dilaporkan, serta kematian yang dikaitkan dengan fluoxetine-induced kronis amitriptyline toksisitas.
